Day 1: Loving God: Gutter Cleaning

Scripture:
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me - Psalm 51: 10

Reflection Questions:

• What is cluttering your life and needs to be extracted?
• Are there things you are holding on to that are blocking you from going deeper in your relationship with God?
• What can you confess to God and ask forgiveness for?

Prayer:
God of power, create in me a clean heart. I confess that there are things that a blocking me from a fuller love (name them). Please forgive me  Give me the discernment to know how to best remove the buildup and to best utilize the gutter guards in my spiritual life. Thank you God for your call to love those who persecute, and for the way it gives us a picture into your extravagant grace. Amen

Challenge:
To confess the blockages in your life to loving God  Invite God to remove any debris that inhibits you from loving God more fully.
