SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICE 10:00 AM We Welcome All People ~ With Open Hearts and Minds ~ Guided by the Holy Spirit, we invite all to learn, serve, and grow spiritually by walking in the light of Jesus Christ. |
~ What to Expect at Aldersgate ~
You will be greeted upon your arrival and made to feel at home right away. You will discover how warm, friendly, and eager we are to help make you comfortable. Our worship service is simple to follow, the teachings are meaningful, thoughtful, and relevant to your life. Whether you are coming to Christ for the first time, or continuing a lifelong journey, you’ll find a place to grow closer to God as you participate in vibrant, exciting worship services . . . so come as you are! Our doors are open to everyone regardless of your denomination.
The worship service is traditional with an upbeat, but laid-back feel.
We offer communion on the first Sunday of each month. Anyone is welcome to participate,
but it is not required. The guiding principles of Methodism prohibits alcohol so we use grape juice
and bread with a gluten-free option. Following the service you are welcome to gather in the
fellowship area for a brief coffee social.
What We Believe
The United Methodist Church is a global denomination that opens hearts, opens minds and opens doors through active engagement with our world. The mission of The United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. John Wesley and the early Methodists placed primary emphasis on Christian living, on putting faith and love into action. This emphasis on what Wesley referred to as "practical divinity" has continued to be a hallmark of United Methodism today.
