Ways to Help

AOCC appreciates your donations of food, goods, time, and money.
​Together we can work to address food insecurity and allow people to live a life with dignity.

Financial Contributions

Monetary donations are always welcome. There are special fund drives for Christmas and school backpacks.

Donation Hours

Thrift Store Donations: Wednesday 10 am to 12:30 pm, Saturday 12 pm to 1 pm
Food Donations:  Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday 10 am to 12 pm
​Please do not leave food or Thrift Store donations outside the doors. 

Pantry Donations

Contributions of food help us to keep the shelves stocked with items in demand. Whenever possible,
please select low sodium and low sugar items when choosing your non-perishable food donations.
Donate future-dated nonperishable food items such as:
• Canned tuna, meat, soup, beans, vegetables, fruit, meals
• Peanut butter and jelly (no glass jars)
• Cereal
• Pasta
• Spaghetti sauce (no glass jars)
• Macaroni and cheese
• Rice

Donate diapers and feminine hygiene products:
• Diapers and pull-ups for babies and toddlers
• Baby wipes
• Diapers for adults
• Period products
• Poise pads
• Bedpads
​• Panty Liners
Donate cleaning and personal hygiene supplies:
• Toilet paper
• Shampoo
• Toothpaste
• Toothbrushes
• Soap and body wash
• Paper towels
• Laundry detergent
​• Household cleaners

Cleaning Supplies Drive
The Food Pantry cannot accept:
• Cans of food that are badly dented, leaking or stained
• Food that is past the published USDA guidelines for being safe to eat
• Baby food and formula past expiration date
• Food that is not in sealed packaging
• Food that is not labeled

Thrift Store Donations

The Thrift Store accepts:
• Clean, lightly used seasonal clothing with no stains or rips for men, women, children and babies 
• Clean towels, linens, bedding, and decorative pillows with no stains
• Household items
• Dishes
• Glassware in sets of four or more
• Small appliances in working order
• New or lightly used toys with all of the parts​. Please tape or bag small pieces together. ​
The Thrift Store does not accept:
• Dirty, broken, stained, torn, or non-working items
• Used undergarments
• Books for adults
• Furniture 
• Large appliances and TVs
• Baby equipment: cribs, high chairs, strollers, car seats, pack n’ plays, walkers, baby gates, etc.
• ​Medical equipment
