At AOCC’s Food Pantry, we believe all people should have access to healthy, nutritious food. Partnering with local businesses, food banks, and farmers, fresh fruits and vegetables are always available along with packaged food staples, bread, dairy, deli items, and choices of protein. As a full choice pantry, neighbors shop with dignity, selecting food that meets their dietary needs and preferences.
The Food Pantry offers several special programs including snack bags for school age children, diapers for babies and adults, and feminine hygiene products. Holiday foods are provided at Thanksgiving and Easter.

Donations and Volunteering
|
Donations of food, cleaning supplies, diapers, and personal products are gratefully accepted and can be dropped off at the Food Pantry. Future dated food in sealed original packaging can go right on the shelf. Fresh produce from your garden is also accepted. Donations can be dropped off during food pantry hours. Click here for guidelines for donating food. Monetary donations are always welcome! There are times when we cannot get all the food we need through the Community Food Bank of New Jersey, Replenish Middlesex County Food Bank, or community donations so needed items are purchased from grocery stores. Our volunteers are key in creating a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in the Food Pantry. They assist neighbors, restock shelves, prepare the pantry for opening, and clean up after closing. Register to volunteer through Jersey Cares. |
