Children's Sunday School MinistryEach week from September to June, children are invited to share in God's love. We spend our time focusing on a bible story and then engaging in an activity or craft that helps the children make a connection to it. We often play games, say prayers, and sing songs, but most of all, we get to build a relationship with God. The children also work together to interact with the community. We all have fun learning how Jesus walks beside us and is present in our daily lives.

Youth MinistryFrom September to June, 7th-12th graders are invited to youth group which meets most Sunday evenings from 5pm to 6:30pm in the lower level of the church. The youth group strives to develop a group dynamic that fosters spiritual development and lasting friendships. Outside of regular youth group meetings, the youth also gather for special events, fundraising/volunteer opportunities, annual retreats, and are welcome to participate in all aspects of the life of the church. . We value our youth and are always excited to welcome the next generation to be a part of our community. Sunshine CircleAll women, whether they are members of the church or not, are welcome to participate in our regular gatherings which include devotions, Christian study and reflection, and fellowship. Creation Care TeamThe creation care team meets weekly to care for and nurture the church grounds. All are welcome to join in landscaping, lawnmowing, and other grounds-related tasks to maintain the beauty and welcome of the Aldersgate space. Goods News RingersOur hand bell rehearsals are on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 7:50. The bells play during the church service once a month from September through June. Prior experience is not necessary. New members welcome. To join contact the church office at [email protected] .

Book ClubAre you ready to explore books from a variety of genres? Then the book club may be for you! We meet quasi-monthly to discuss fiction and non-fiction books, bringing in our faith perspective. For more information, please contact the church office at [email protected]

Adult Christian Education & Bible StudiesThrough classes on a variety of topics, such as spirituality, the Bible, church history, ethics, and contemporary life, adults have the opportunity to grow in faith. Adult Sunday School classes meet 9 am to 9:50 am Sunday mornings and range in length from 4 to 8 weeks. We also offer a variety of weekday adult Bible studies at various times. Fellowship DinnerOur Church Fellowship Dinner offers a welcoming space for everyone, whether you’re in need of food or simply seeking fellowship and community. Join us as we share food, friendship, and connections together. Meetings are the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month at 6:00pm. Feel free to join us in the church gymnasium on the lower level.

Assisted Living WorshipJoin us the second and fourth Wednesday of each month as we host worship services for residents, staff, and volunteers at Mira Vie Assisted Living Center. Community GardenIn the Aldersgate backyard we have a growing garden space that is home to a wide variety of flowers, fruit trees, vegetables plants, and space to sit and reflect. All produce grown at the garden is shared with the Aldersgate congregation or donated to the AOCC food pantry to serve the wider community. We’re always looking for volunteers to help weed, prune, and show the garden some love. Contact the church office at [email protected].
